Holle Organic Millet Porridge with rice is a great gluten free grain to start weaning your baby onto solids. Millet porridge is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and has a significant amount of minerals, vitamins and trace elements in particular silicic acid, which influences the healthy growth of bones, hair, nails and skin. Holle Organic Millet Porridge is easy and quick to prepare with breast milk, baby milk formula or even plain water. Holle Organic Millet Porridge is gluten free, dairy free and contains no added salt or sugar. Holle Organic Millet Porridge is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. This whole grain cereal porridge is suitable for babies from four months - six months on.

INGREDIENTS

75% whole grain millet flour*, 25% whole grain rice flour*, thiamin

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • Prepare 5 oz. of your favorite infant formula as directed.
  • Pour formula into a bowl and stir in approximately 3-4 Tbsp. of porridge.
  • Allow cereal to sit until it has reached room temperature and has absorbed all of the liquids.

Cow's milk* preparation:

  • Boil 3.4 oz. cow's milk and 3.4 oz. filtered water. Cool liquids to approximately 122 degrees.
  • Pour liquids into a bowl and stir in approximately 5 Tbsp. of porridge.
  • Allow cereal to sit until it has reached room temperature and has absorbed all of the liquids.

Breast milk preparation:

  • Stir approximately 5 Tbsp. porridge into 4.4 oz. warm breast milk. Please note: to persevere valuable nutrients, do not heat breast milk over 104 degrees.

Dairy-free preparation:

  • Boil 6.8 oz. filtered water. Cool water to approximately 122 degrees.
  • Pour liquids into a bowl and stir in approximately 5 Tbsp. of porridge.
  • Allow cereal to sit until it has reached room temperature and has absorbed all of the liquids.

Dairy-free preparation with fruit or vegetables:

  • Boil 3 oz. filtered water. Cool water to approximately 122 degrees.
  • Mix approximately 4 Tbsp. porridge with 7 Tbsp. of fruit based baby food or freshly pureed fruit. If desired, substitute fruit puree with 11 Tbsp. vegetable based baby food or freshly pureed vegetables.
  • Add water to cereal mixture and stir well.

Liquid and cereal amount can be adjusted to your child's needs or preferences. Please keep in mind: thicker foods can pose a chocking risk to young children.

STORAGE AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
