INGREDIENTS 

62% pumpkin puree*, 19% whole grain rice flour*, 19% Demeter whole grain maize flour**, thiamin

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Dairy-free with vegetables preparation (at lunchtime):

  • Mix approximately 5 Tbsp. porridge with 7 Tbsp. vegetable based baby food (jarred) or freshly pureed vegetables. If needed, add boiled and cooled water to cereal.
  • If desired, add 1 oz. pureed meat.
  • Allow cereal to sit until it has reached room temperature and has absorbed all of the liquids.
  • To increase fat content, add 1 – 2 Tsp. edible oil.

Cow’s milk* preparation (in the evening):

  • Boil 3.4 oz. cow’s milk and 3.4 oz. filtered water. Cool liquids to approximately 122°.
  • Pour liquids into a bowl and stir in approximately 5 Tbsp. of porridge.
  • Allow cereal to sit until it has reached room temperature and has absorbed all of the liquids.
  • To aid in iron absorption, add 2 Tbsp. vitamin C rich fruit juice.

Infant formula preparation (in the evening):

  • Prepare 5 oz. of your favorite infant formula as directed.
  • Pour formula into a bowl and stir in approximately 3 – 4 Tbsp. of porridge.
  • Allow cereal to sit until it has reached room temperature and has absorbed all of the liquids.

Adjust liquid and cereal amounts according to your child’s wants or needs. It is important to note: dense foods can pose a chocking risk to young children.

*Do not prepare this porridge with cow’s milk until your baby is 12 months old.

 

STORAGE AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

 

For maximum freshness, prepare Holle Organic Vegetable Porridge with Pumpkin, Corn, and Rice right before mealtime. Always follow preparation instructions carefully and do not re-use leftover cereal. Baby porridge is an excellent addition to your baby’s diet, but should not replace regular bottle or breast milk feedings.

Store cereal in an airtight container or bag and place in a cool, dry environment. Exposure to high temperatures can compromise the product’s quality. Use cereal within 3 – 4 weeks of opening.
