HiPP Hypoallergenic Stage 2 is designed for little ones from six months and up and primarily for infants who are at risk of allergies or have shown signs of sensitivity to cow's milk proteins. It is not suitable for infants who are diagnosed with Cow Milk Protein Allergy (CMPA). It’s made from the same organic cow’s milk as all regular HiPP formulas, but with the proteins broken down so your baby’s immune system can’t react to them. It is intended for babies with an increased risk of allergy — typically when a parent or sibling has eczema, asthma, hay fever or a food allergy. Speak to your doctor before choosing it.
Not suitable for a cow's milk protein allergy. Do not use HiPP HA if your baby has, or may have, a cow's milk protein allergy. Its protein is not broken down far enough for babies with this allergy; they need a formula recommended by their doctor.

How to prepare and store
Step 1:
Before use, sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring in boiling water.
Step 2:
Boil the water and allow it to cool to room temperature.
*We recommend boiling spring water.
Step 3:
Pour approximately half of the water into the bottle.
Step 4:
Fill the measuring spoon and level with a knife.
Step 5:
Add milk powder indicated in the table below.
Step 6:
Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
Step 7:
Add the rest of the water and shake again.

Is HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 organic?
No. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 is not certified organic. It is made by HiPP in Germany under the same EU rules for follow-on formula as every HiPP formula.
Is HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 gluten-free and soy-free?
Yes. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 is gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free and peanut-free.
Does HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contain starch or maltodextrin?
No. Lactose is its only carbohydrate, and it contains no starch, maltodextrin or added sugars.
Does HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contain DHA?
Yes. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to normal visual development in infants up to twelve months. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 also contains higher iron levels than HA Stage 1 to support your growing baby.
Does HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contain probiotics?
Yes. HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 contains natural lactic acid cultures originally derived from breast milk, alongside prebiotic fibres (GOS).
How is HiPP Dutch HA different from regular HiPP Dutch formula?
The main difference is the protein. In HiPP Dutch HA the whey protein is hydrolysed — broken into smaller pieces — while regular HiPP Dutch uses intact milk protein. Both are lactose-only and starch-free, but HiPP Dutch HA is not organic.
How is HiPP Dutch HA different from HiPP German HA?
The recipes are the same: HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 and HiPP German HA Stage 2 have the same ingredients and nutrient levels. The differences are the packaging — an 800 g can for the Dutch version and a 600 g box for the German one — and the language on the pack.
How many bottles does one can of HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 make?
Each can contains 800 g of powder and makes approximately 5.9 litres (200 fl oz) of prepared formula — around 29 bottles of 200 ml. Follow the preparation instructions on the pack.
How many cans of HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2 do I need per month?
If formula is your baby's only milk, expect about 4 cans a month from 6 to 8 months, dropping to around 3 a month from 8 to 12 months as solid foods increase. Every baby is different, so treat this as a guide and follow the feeding chart on the pack.
What comes after HiPP Dutch HA Stage 2?
HA Stage 2 is the last HiPP Dutch HA stage we carry. From 12 months, talk to your doctor about whether your child still needs a hydrolysed formula or can move to a regular toddler milk or cow's milk.
