Kendamil Organic Stage 1 infant formula is suitable for newborns up to 6 months of age. This formula serves as an excellent standalone food source or a complementary option alongside breastfeeding. Milk comprises two primary proteins: casein and whey.

Casein consists of larger molecules that undergo a slower digestion process, while whey contains smaller, easily digestible molecules. Similar to mature breast milk, Stage 1 boasts a higher whey-to-casein ratio of 60/40. This ratio aligns with babies' needs for quick-absorbing, easily digestible nourishment to support rapid growth.

Our formula also includes all the essential fatty acids vital for infant development, such as ALA, LA, ARA, and plant-based DHA, along with immunity-boosting vitamins like A, C, and D.

Kendamil exclusively utilizes whole organic cow's milk, providing your baby with the energy they require. Free from starch or maltodextrin, our formula is gentle on delicate tummies, promoting smoother digestion.

Kendamil organic infant formulas dissolve quickly and can be prepared in minutes. Preparation instructions are included in every package so it’s easy to follow along. 

How to Prepare Fresh

Step 1: Boil water and allow to cool to about 50 °C / 122 °F

Step 2: Fill roughly half the bottle with boiled water

Step 3: Use the measuring spoon provided and add the correct number of scoops (1 scoop per fluid ounce of water). Spoonfuls should be flat, not heaping

Step 4: Close the bottle and shake until powder is completely dissolved

Step 5: Fill the remaining half of the bottle and shake again until the powder is evenly diluted

Step 6: Allow to cool to about 37 °C / 98.6 °F 

Step 7: Squeeze a drop onto your forearm to test the temperature before feeding

How to Refrigerate and Store Prepared Formula:

Need to plan ahead and prepare some formula for later? No problem! Simply refrigerate the formula in temperatures below 41° F/5° C. Keep in mind that the longer you store, the more opportunity there is for harmful bacteria to grow. It’s always best to use within 2-3 hours of preparation. 

How to Reheat Prepared Formula:

Prepared formula can easily be rewarmed by placing the tightly sealed feeding container into a separate container of warm water. Occasionally shake and swirl the feeding container to ensure that it heats evenly. 

How to Store Opened Package of Dry Formula:
After opening, reseal in the original container. When stored properly, Kendamil Infant Milk Formulas can last up to 28 days after opening.
