Holle Cow Milk Stage 4 organic now contains DHA as per EU organic formula regulations. The formula is suitable for children from twelve months onwards and contains all the ingredients necessary for a growing child. The milk can be used in porridge or as part of a toddler’s mixed diet.

The Holle Cow Milk Stage 4 contains ingredients that are 99% organic. The remaining 1% are minerals as well as vitamins. This is a growing up milk which also contains Vitamins A, B, C, and E along with organic maltodextrin, whey powder, and vegetable oils. The Omega 3 in Holle Cow Milk Stage 4 has been sourced from organic vegetable oil.

How to prepare and store

Step 1:

Thoroughly sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring in boiling water for about 3-5 minutes before use.

Step 2:

Boil the water and let it cool down to approximately 50°C

Step 3:

Pour approximately half of the water into the bottle (for exact amount, see measuring table below).

Step 4:

Fill the measuring scoop with the required amount and level with a knife.

Step 5:

Close the bottle and shake vigorously. Fill up the remaining water and shake vigorously again.

Step 6:

Allow the surface area to cool to the drinking temperature 37°C. It is recommended to check the temperature before drinking.

I heard that maltodextrin is a useless filler. Why does Holle Stage 4 use it?

Although some internet sources suggest that maltodextrin is a useless filler/sweetener, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Maltodextrin is actually an easy-to-digest carb and is only mildly sweet. Holle uses a special type of maltodextrin that’s even slower to digest so it keeps your baby full longer.

What’s the difference between Holle Stage 3 and Stage 4 formulas?
